Augusto Rovegno is the Senior Vice President of Content at ViX, TelevisaUnivision’s Spanish-language streaming service to exclusively serve the Spanish-speaking world. With more than 17 years of experience in television media and streaming services in the U.S. and Latin America, Augusto has expertise in content development and acquisition, sports programming, and overall programming strategy. Augusto has led development and co-productions for over 70 originals, including films, scripted series, documentaries, and reality shows, with International Emmy wins and nominations. Before joining ViX, Augusto served as the Director of Original Films for Latin America at Netflix, where he also gained over six years of experience in co-productions, acquisitions, and licensing. Previously, he served as the Director of Programming Acquisitions at DIRECTV Latin America. Augusto holds a BA Hons in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London.
